French composer Lili Boulanger was the first woman to win the Grand Prix de Rome for musical composition (1913). Her D’un matin de printemps, transcribed and conducted by Frost D.M.A. Conducting student Jack Hontz, makes its wind world premiere. The concert also features Frost Concerto Competition winner(s) and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Michael Colgrass’ monumental, Winds of Nagual.
